DESCRIPTION: A panic switch is an electronic device that can be pressed for immediate assistance in case of an emergency situation, be it intrusion, fire, panic, or medical. The main purpose behind installing a panic alarm system is to get quick assistance whenever someone is in need of help.

As soon as someone presses a panic button, it activates the control panel, and then the control panel sends an alert to the emergency numbers, or else, it alerts the security personnel at the monitoring station.

Emergency panic buttons can be wired or wireless depending upon the type of security alarm you wish to install at your premises. Wired panic switches are connected using cables and are therefore, more reliable. While on the other hand, a wireless panic button operates on batteries and, needs to be checked constantly to assure smooth working.
